Large pharmaceutical companies refuse to do comprehensive clinical studies on ingredients unless they can profit from them. Such ingredients like lysine, copper and zinc have been proven in independent studies to be very effective suppressing viruses, and in some cases even kill viruses. Pharmaceutical companies are unable to patent these ingredients as they are not man made (already existing in nature, non-synthesized) so consequently you will never see them promoted with multi-million dollar marketing campaigns and studies, and irrespective of how effective they may be, the pharmaceutical companies are in business to make money and will not promote products they can’t control or make money from.

The herpes virus is difficult to eliminate completely as it resides protected deep in the nervous system.
